Fresh Sweet Jagung (Corn) Soup
"Fresh Sweet Jagung (Corn) Soup" !This is one of my kitchen's signature dessert loved by all of my family members especially served cold. Cooling n soothing for tis hazy hot weather.
Here's this very simple to prepare recipe :-
Ingredients : -
4 fresh jagung (corns)
3 pandan leaves
sugar
Method:-
1) Buy the best corn i.e. really fresh. Shuck the corn clean from the husk (leaves) and the silky tassel .
2) Use a sharp knife, slice the corn way down to the cob until finished the whole corn. Repeat with the rest of it.
3) Place all corns in a deep pot, fill up with water and pandan leaves. When boiling,lower the heat, discard away the floating husk or any remainder of the hairy silk. Continue boiling for 15-20 mins.
4) Scoop in the sugar and taste it to individual preference.
5) Serve it hot or cold.
* A very simple and yummy dessert !
