Viennese Tarts
Simple and easy baking, "Viennese Tarts" for tea time, love with tea and coffee.
Recipe recommended raspberry jam but I used strawberry jam and leftover cream for topping.
Here's the recipe,
Ingredients:-
200 gm flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
150 gm butter/ margarine
70 gm sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 tsp yellow coloring (opt)
Method:-
1) Preheat your oven to 170-173'.
2) Beat butter, sugar and vanilla till light and fluffy.
3) Add egg and beat. Sieve in the flour and baking powder into the mixture. Mix well.
4) Scoop mixture into a piping bag and pipe into paper cups till 3/4 full.
5) Bake for 20-25 mins till light golden.
6) After cool, dust icing sugar and pipe some cream, top with raspberry/ strawberry jam in the center.

Flour is plain flour or superfine flour at here?
