Baked Cheesecake






  " Baked Cheesecake ", is a great accompaniment to morning coffee and is special enough for dessert too.











Here's the recipe,


Ingredients (A):-
250 gm cream cheese
70 gm butter/margarine
120 gm castor sugar
4 egg yolks
100 cc milk
1 oz lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla essence

Ingredients (B):-
80 gm plain flour

Ingredients (C) :-
4 egg white
1 oz castor sugar
1/4 tsp cream of tartar





Method :-
1) Beat butter, cream cheese, sugar til light and fluffy.Add in egg yolk one at a time.
2) Beat in lemon juice and milk alternating with the sifted flour. Blend in the vanilla essence.
3) Whisk up egg white, sugar and cream of tartar till soft peak, fold the egg yolk mixture slowly into egg white mixture. Blend well.
4) Pour in a 20 cm lined & greased pan and drop the pan few times to let the air out.
5) Bake at 173' for 1 hour using steam-bath method.When well baked leave in the oven with door ajar for 15 mins then only turn out to cool on wire rack.
6) Cut and serve.
