Steamed Soft Tofu with Minced Meat & Eggs
Ingredients:-
1 Pack Soft Tofu
1/2 Bowl minced meat (Seasoned with salt, light soya sauce, pepper powder and rub with cornflour)
2 Eggs
A little chopped spring onions
Topping Sauce:-
2 Tbsp light soya sauce
1 Tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 Tsp Sugar
A pinch of salt
A dash of pepper powder
A little cornstarch for thickening
A dash of xiao xing wing.
Method:-
1) Rub salt and pepper powder to the soft tofu evenly.
2) Place in a deep platter.
3) Spread out the meat on both sides of the tofu.
4) Get the steamer on high heat.
5) Break the 2 eggs on the surface of the tofu.
6) Put in the steamer and steam for about 15mins.
7) While the steaming goes on, cook the topping sauce.
8) After 15mins, take out the platter, pour the topping sauce all over the cooked tofu and sprinkle with the spring onions.
9) Serve hot on the table.
