Pineapple Upside Down Cake
My homemade best "Pineapple Upside Down Cake". Earlier version of my baking without recipe.
Such a wonderful texture cake, tasted really marvelously.
Here's the recipe,
Ingredients:-
180 gm. Margerine Frozen (room temperature)
230 gm. Castor sugar
300 gm self~raising flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
5 eggs (separated)
1 can pineapple rings
3 tbsp pineapple juice
3 tbsp fresh milk7~8 maraschino cherries
Method:
1) Beat margarine and sugar till fluffy and creamy. Add in egg yolks one at
2) Sift the flour and baking powder in the mixture alternately with pineapple juice n milk.
3) Beat up the egg white till meringue like and slowly fold into the egg yolk mixture.
4) Lined and greased a round pan, assemble the pineapple rings and cherries just like the picture below.
5) Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake at 173°c for 45~55 mins.
6) Do not remove the cake till it's completely cool.
